*** Summer 2025 - Lake Lure Update ***

Per the website www.townoflakelure.com: Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.

KICK BACK CABIN ~ MOUNTAIN VIEWS ~ FAMILY-FRIENDLY ~ PET-FRIENDLY ~ GATED COMMUNITY VERY QUIET

Kick Back Cabin is a lovely three-bedroom, 2-bath log cabin with Big, Beautiful Mountain Views. It’s centrally located just 2 miles from lakefront dining at Larkin’s on the Lake, 5.4 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, and 6 miles to Chimney Rock State Park. Kickback Cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access for day trips to Asheville or Hendersonville. A large grocery store, restaurants, and medical center are only 2 miles away. This destination is sure to spark treasured family memories for years to come.
 
The main floor features a great room with a wall of windows and opens to the kitchen. Step outside onto the beautiful wrap-around deck to enjoy the backyard mountain views and roast marshmallows over the stone fire pit, or relax in one of the rockers with a good book. The main level also has two bedrooms with a full bath between them in the hall and a pull-out sofa in the living room.

The upper level has a loft bedroom, spacious full bath, rocking chair, and desk space with a great view for relaxing, reading, or having morning coffee.

Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes. 

Parking for three vehicles. 

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime after.

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
