*** Summer 2025 - Lake Lure Update ***

Area Wide Notice:  Per the website www.townoflakelure.com: Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.

Around The Lake is a pet-friendly, six-bedroom lakefront home that sits on the east side of Lake Lure.  Two independent levels with an outside stairway connecting them.  There is no kitchen on the second level.   If you are yearning to breathe fresh air and be on beautiful Lake Lure, come hang out at Around The Lake. This family-friendly lakefront cottage offers spectacular views of majestic mountains and an alluring lake that will rejuvenate your soul.   Relax on either of the two back decks in this serene setting that overlooks a cove and mountains across the lake. 

The home features two separate independent levels perfect for large families.  Enjoy swimming, canoeing, and much more.  We feel confident you will enjoy your vacation "Around the Lake."

This lakefront beauty is 7.8 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 9 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 19.4 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime after you wish to arrive.

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or any time earlier you wish to depart.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
