Things to do

Our natural surroundings are so beautiful you can’t help but relax and unwind. If you’re most at home wandering the trails there is no shortage of hiking trails and fun adventures including Chimney Rock State Park, Morse Park, Buffalo Creek Park, or many more along the Blue Ridge Mountains. If water is more your thing then there is floating or fishing in the serene waters of Lake Lure, Lake Adger, Lake Lanier, or Mirror Lake. Enjoy challenging yourself on one of our championship golf courses, such as Apple Valley Golf Course or Bald Mountain Golf Course, visit local bars, play at Lake Lure Water Park, or fly high on a zip line. Be sure to check out Lake Lure Flowering Bridge, a sight to behold in its full bloom.
