Nestled at the end of a long, private, paved driveway on a quiet cul-de-sac– overlooking the verdant 15th fairway of the Apple Valley Golf Course and the mountainous landscape behind–is resplendent TranquiliTee Retreat with absolutely no design detail or deluxe-extra spared.

Upon entering the expansive foyer, with a spacious and convenient coat closet, you’ll feel more upscale with every step.

Left of the entry area is a spacious and fully private office to serve a variety of circumstances: homeschooling, remote working, business owner detail, college, and virtual high school assignment completion, researching, and writing for work or for pleasure. The list goes on…

And while it has doors on both sides for peace and concentration, it also acts as an antechamber to the primary bedroom, creating an extra large, very nice suite for those who choose to enjoy their own retreat within a retreat! The bedroom is beautifully appointed and opens onto a deck with a fire table and chairs, as well as a high-top bistro table and chairs, where the evening’s ambiance will invite you to settle in and enjoy the view.

The ensuite bath is spa-like in every sense: gorgeous finishes, an elegant soaking tub, and an enormous tile walk-in shower. Can a bathroom be a beyond-necessity destination? Here, yes, without exception!

Each bathroom brings elements of the outside in, in a very opulent fashion, with each being so differently appointed that you’ll feel as though you’ve visited multiple locales rather than multiple rooms!

This main ensuite bath, and every other bathroom in the home, boasts five-star-PLUS features. The delightful decor and the tasteful, elegant design ideas will have you and your fellow travelers exclaiming: “Come see this one!”

In the large living room, a stunning focal point, and another extravagant outside-in decor gem, is the stone fireplace with a magnificent, unique custom mantlepiece.

Running along the entire back of the house–showcasing the views from the living room, dining area, breakfast nook, and kitchen — walls of windows expose the lush green golf course and the majestic curving mountains. It’s tempting to stop, but there’s so much more to explore!

Off of the screened porch, another outdoor deck is positioned above the grill. Its steps lead to pretty stone paths and easily-navigable, wide, terraced stairs that will escort you on a nice stroll along the edge of the green and around the lovely landscaping. You’ll also find herbs such as rosemary and basil growing outside and in!

Inside, in all directions, there are unique and rustically elegant statement pieces: the light in the dining area, the high-gloss epoxy coated wood with live edge countertop– and loads of additional stone-counter space–in the grand kitchen. A high-end gas stove, beautiful cabinets, custom tile backsplash, and large state-of-the-art refrigerator blend beautifully to create a gourmet garden of Eden or eatin’. Under-counter appliances such as a mini-fridge and wine fridge add more fancy to the fantastic feels here!

Even the stairwell to the lower level delivers a wow factor with a most stunning custom branch banister. It’s these tasteful, artistic, and surprising touches throughout the home that appear like gifts to remind you that you are away from the ordinary and deserving of special treatment!

This downstairs area is its own self-contained living space with a second wine fridge, toaster oven, and refrigerator (for those occupying the space or for overflow from the upstairs kitchen fridge). A large television, a second gorgeous stone fireplace, and lots of comfortable plush seating, including a sleeper sofa, make this room a cozy and desirable place to relax. There are two king bedrooms with ultra-luxurious white bedding. All three king beds in this home feature such lovely linens and are so sumptuously made up, with triple-layered sheeting, that you will feel like royalty, very well-rested royalty at that!

If you become so pampered that you need grounding before leaving this idyllic retreat, there’s always laundry to assist you. But even that will feel special in the large laundry room with seemingly endless folding space.

Since you’ll be par for the course at Apple Valley, you’ll be entitled to Apple Valley Golf Club and Rumbling Bald at Lake Lure amenities, including, at Rumbling Bald: the beach with Lake Lure access, tennis, putt-putt golf, three swimming pools, spa, restaurants, and golf course access.

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a confirmed reservation outside of 30 days before arrival, there is just a $50 cancellation fee to help cover credit card costs and time. If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund unless we get the home rebooked. If the home is rebooked for your canceled dates, we will refund all but the $50 cancellation fee. Please note that we always recommend purchasing travel insurance/trip interruption insurance to help protect your investment should something unexpected come up. Travel insurance is typically 6.95% of your total trip cost, and coverage details are available on the checkout page.
