Welcome to Rocky River Retreat II – A small, cozy home away from home!

Location! What better way to spend your vacation than to stay at a home just a few short miles away from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. This home sits right outside of Bat Cave and is only 3 miles from Chimney Rock and 6 miles from Lake Lure. Want to plan a day trip to a nearby popular city? Asheville is 23 miles away, Downtown Hendersonville is 15 miles away, and the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) is 23 miles away. Plan the perfect itinerary for your trip, knowing these great cities are just miles away!

This newly renovated home has the perfect amount of homey feel to make your vacation feel like a home away from home. When you enter the cottage, you enter the kitchen with the dining table to the left. A fully functional kitchen with utensils to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Straight ahead of the kitchen, you will find a coffee bar with a standard auto-drip coffee maker and coffee mugs to start your day off right. Turn to the left, and you will enter the living room. Here, you will find a cozy L-Shaped sofa perfect for getting comfortable and watching a movie on the TV. In addition to the coziness of the living room couch, look to the left, and you will be able to enjoy the view of the beautiful outdoors. Walk through the sliding door onto the deck, and enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the Rocky Broad River. Listen to the sounds of the river, birds chirping, and the leaves moving in the wind. The view and sounds are sure to make you feel like you’re in paradise. Walk back into the home from the deck, and the bathroom will be on your left. A beautiful, updated bathroom with the perfect touches, as well as a walk-in glass shower. Back through the living room, straight ahead, you will walk into the bedroom with a queen size bed. The functional bedroom features a closet as well as a washer and dryer. This romantic home has the perfect touches to make your vacation relaxing. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime after.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a confirmed reservation 30 days before arrival, there is just a $50 cancellation fee to help cover credit card costs and time. If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund unless we get the home rebooked. If the home is rebooked for your canceled dates, we will refund all but the $50 cancellation fee. Please note that we always recommend the purchase of travel insurance/trip interruption insurance to help protect your investment should something unexpected come up. Travel insurance is typically 6.95% of your total trip cost, and coverage details are available on the checkout page.
