This cozy 1800 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 3 bath, home is nestled in a historic children’s camp site. The front porch is idealistic, with a swing, and beautiful, bird watching views. The owners love their cabin, and the neighborhood too! Their hope is you will appreciate its character and setting as much as they do.
Enter on the main level to a large wood burning stove, kitchen with a unique rustic charm, and spacious master bedroom with a king size bed. There is a second bedroom with a queen bed, and loft with both a king and trundle bed. Don’t miss out on the cast iron, soaking tub upstairs, it is sure to melt your stress away! Relax and reminisce by the outdoor fire pit. Parking includes a carport and the driveway easily accommodates 2 vehicles. Pet friendly, dogs are welcomed!
Enjoy great walks all around the camp-style village, down to the lake for a canoe trip, around waterfalls and nearby creeks, spot fields of bluebirds, deer and wild turkeys. Enjoy moderate and adventurous hikes at Chimney Rock nearby as well as shopping and dining.
Offering a perfect mix of both comfort, including triple sheeted beds, and a certain nostalgia, the cabin is outfitted as a well-loved, multi-generational getaway offering unfussy relaxation. Dogs (1 or 2) are welcome in this home. Guests are required to clean up after their pets to avoid additional fees.
Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime after.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a confirmed reservation 30 days before arrival, there is just a $50 cancellation fee to help cover credit card costs and time. If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund unless we get the home rebooked. If the home is rebooked for your canceled dates, we will refund all but the $50 cancellation fee. Please note that we always recommend purchasing travel insurance/trip interruption insurance to help protect your investment should something unexpected come up. Travel insurance is typically 6.95% of your total trip cost, and coverage details are available on the checkout page.
